Infants and Toddlers Program
Simple activities such as feeding and diapering can build or break trust and security in a child. That is why we have a team of highly qualified staff who always pay close, individual attention to our little ones.
Sparking Curiosity
We encourage our infants and toddlers to explore their interests with a variety of manipulative play. This way, we can help them properly develop fine motor skills and coordination.
Individual Learning
Our classroom areas are specifically designed to give your child the best environment for learning and development. We talk, interact, and move to your child’s level to make eye contact, read, and sing to them every day.
Preschool Program
Our curriculum is designed to nurture and teach each child. We teach our kids a variety of learning elements on a daily basis. They are introduced to the concepts of the alphabet, shapes, colors, as well as numbers, and counting.
Fun Group Discussions
Children participate in circle time twice a day, where they discuss topics introduced in their learning units. During this time, they review basic learning concepts in a fun and learner-friendly environment.
Always Interactive
Each day is filled with opportunities to explore through imaginative play and learning. Our schedules include independent and teacher-guided activities that help spark creativity, discovery, and joy.

Other Information
We serve nutritious meals and snacks daily to help our pupils develop healthy eating habits. We also require all pre-school students to wear uniforms. The uniforms consist of khaki or tan pants or skirts as well as red shirts or blouses.
More Services
Before School
Kids are dropped off in the morning between 6:00 A.M. and 9:00 A.M. Once they arrive, each child is given a light, nutritious breakfast before any activity or program.
After School
Pupils are given a snack at the center before they get picked up at school. For the safety of our kids, we emphasize that children need to be picked up by 7:00 P.M. This way, parents can also avoid late pick-up charges.
Homework Assistance
Children are instructed to work on their assignments after school. We have a trained team of staff that assists kids with homework, checking to see their work for completion and accuracy.
We also provide one-on-one tutoring as needed. For this service, we have a separate area and a computer lab that kids and their tutors can use. This can help to promote better, individualized learning for the children.
Recreational Activities
Even when other Prince George County schools are closed, we still provide a variety of after-school services. We offer recreational activities such as the following:
School Policies
We follow the closing policies of Prince George County Public Schools (PGCPS) when it comes to inclement weather. For example, when PGCPS has a two-hour delay, so will The Kidz Factory. Explore our website for more guidelines on our closing schedules.
Drop-Off and Pick-Up
We provide safe and stress-free transportation for our little ones. We take them to and from our schools in Capitol Heights, Landover, and Hyattsville, Maryland.
Safety Is Our Priority
At The Kidz Factory, each child's safety is paramount. That is why all our facilities are equipped with security essentials such as fire alarms and security systems.
Each class area is also protected by state-of-the-art CCTVs. Entry into the facility is obtained through a camera-monitored entry system.
